1 Corinthians 2:9 says “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him.”

Hello All,

I just wanted to send some encouragement your way this week. The verse of the week is just a time for us to reflect and mediate on a verse throughout the week and then talk about it on Friday at Bible Study. It’s just an opportunity for us all to express our own interpretation of the verse.

This specific verse really touched my heart because it just shows God’s unfathomable power. We can try to understand and plan the future, but only God knows. We will never know  what God has prepared for us, but if we put our trust in Him and focus our attention on allowing Him to take control in our lives we will see wonders. Our minds can only handle the hear and now not the future. This verse specifically says that no eye has seen, no ear has heard and no mind has imagined. That alone shows our incapability of understanding fully what God has prepared. He is the timekeeper, the way maker, and the overseer of our lives. That means that anything and everything is possible with God. You can’t let anyone discourage or dishearten your dreams or future, because they aren’t God.  This verse also parallels to Isaiah 64:4 which says “From ancient times no one has heard, no one has listened, no eye has seen any God except You, who acts on behalf of the one who waits for Him. God knows that we can’t fully comprehend or understand His being, but He loves us any way. All He wants is for us to understand that He knows whats best for our lives. This verse just encourages me, because it allows me to understand that God is preparing something extraordinary for my life. I hope everyone has an amazing week, and starts each of their days in the WORD. ♥ ♥
